We have an unpleasant tenant who every few months fraudulently alters her circumstances. She states that she%E2%80%99s back on/off with her partner. By doing this the default housing element gets paid to her.

Her job centre worker last year was aware of this and let me know so I could complete the necessary forms. After 5 months she%E2%80%99s done it again.

After asking for the rent, she initially claimed she never received it. Subsequently, she%E2%80%99s now admitted that she%E2%80%99s skint and will try and pay %C2£75/fortnight from 2 weeks time or take me to court.

She%E2%80%99s now %C2£2400 in debt.

Will take months to evict and totally fed up with this situation as UC is failing us.

Any ideas for help ?
