I'm an experienced landlord but have never bought a second home before. We are lucky enough to have just exchanged on a large 2 bed flat with 2 bathrooms,250 miles from home, with a small mortgage,
We would like to get a lodger to help with the costs of running the place. We will be there about 4 months of the year.
Can I do this legally? Can I draw up a lodger agreement, or must it be a STA?
Is it a bad idea?!
Thanks Susan
