Seven years ago we took on a tenant claiming benefits , a single Mum with two children under 18. One of the children (now 20) is disruptive and we want them to leave. Two months ago we issued Section 21 and tenant due to vacate on 20th Jan. The local Council has informed us that is the tenant does not find alternative accommodation that they can remain in the flat pending a court order. The tenant is not in arrears and rent is paid directly to us by the Council. What information do you have ref court orders and timing? Regards. C
