I agreed with tenant that they would inisite return of £30 of the £175 deposit due to damage. I have completed my part on the DPS website but have ben awaiting same from tenant.

I have emailed and sent letter to tenant with no response. So, now I have statutory declaration from DPS.

For £30 its hardly worth procedding of course but as the tenant does not appear to want their deposit back at all am I within right to claim it all back ?

Form asks to calculate / justify the amount. My justification is why should DPS get to keep the desposit or the balance of it ?
