Just from my point of view I feel that the DPS is very long winded.I have sent in a statutory declaration in order to receive my deposit to pay the rent and they now tell me that they have to write to the tenant at last known address and give them 14days to reply.
They know that the tenant has left the address so i will be the one to receive the letter and yet they still have to go through this procedure.
Even though it costs I now use my deposits which I hope will turn out to be less frustrating.
