I have a single male tenant who owes in excess of £3k in rent arrears and costs awarded by the court. After following the Sect 8 route for evictio, I have a court order for possession, expiring today (30/5/06). Tenant is still in the property, showing no sign of moving out, refusing to answer any correspondence and generally being a pain in the proverbial.!! I know I can go back to the court for a bailiff eviction request, but I find the whole court process lacks any sense of urgency and will also cost me a further £90. Is there any other way of getting rid of him? What I need is someone to go and 'knock on his door' and advise him that to leave would be his best option, earlier rather than later! To recover the debt would be a bonus. Any advice will be appreciated or better still any offers to get him out &get the money!
