I have given a tenant notice with section 21(B) as they breached several terms of the tenanacy agreement including rent arrears within the first 2 months. I have collected the rent from the Guarantor so no problem with that and the deposit will cover the final weeks of missing rent up to the end of the notice. Incidently he told me he had no criminal convictions and his Guarantor confirmed this, clearly incorrect as I now find he is on probation! My problem is if this tenant remains in custody (which is likely he has breached probation conditions)can I end the tenancy before the 2 months notice, if not how do I end it at the end of the notice if he is in prison and what do I do with his possesions. HELP! very complicated and I am new to letting any advice welcome.
