I've got a court date of 7th February to hear my rent arrears claim. Are the tenants both jointly liable for the debts of the other and if one tenant is out of work can I ask/insist that the one who's got a job pays the whole amount?

If the court does give a repossession order how long will it take to get them to leave? Do I have to serve more notices? The original 6 month tenancy finishes on 31st March 2007.
