Serving a Notice

Dear Sir,
I have four people on one contract for a house. The contract ends on the 30th April 2007, and do not want to renew the contract as I have some work to do on the property. Do I have to serve notice to individual tenents or serve one notice with all the names. Please advice me on this issue.
