Hi all,
I am about to look for a tenant for a flat. I have read so much about the way letting agents are letting landlords down and my heart goes out to all fellow lanlords that have suffered at their hands.
My questions are
1. How can you find out if a potential tenant has CCJ against him/her?
2. How can you tell that the references they provide are genuine. for example not written out by friends for them?
I will be most grateful for answers or comments.
