Tenancy Types and Management

The property that I Let has a joint mortgage on it, my husband and myself.

The Tenancy is about to be renewed on 1st August.

Would there be any downside to renewing the Contract in just one of the Landlord's names? Is there any need to have the Tenancy Agreement in joint names as Landlords?
