have a landlord who is not happy with her managing agent and wants to come over to us. the agent has said that all the time the current tenant is in the property the curent arrangement must stand and that they cant change. they said that she signed the contract to that effect as well. have told her that the contract is for 6 months and that after that time she can change if she wants to but they are saying that is not the case. have tried the Office of Fair Trading and they do not deal with letting agents. waiting to hear from the Trading Standards. What can be done please ? my lady is quite concerned
