Do I need Life Cover

I may be speaking out of turn here but the purpose of life cover is to provide financial help in case of death. If something were to happen to either one of you what would the other person do? It seems by your figures that the rent more than covers the mortgage so life cover is not essential. I would need millions of pounds of life cover to cover all the mortgages on properties in my portfolio, and would think this is the case for most btl landlords.
