Does anyone know how we can find out how many years we have to keep ASTAs/Inventories/letters/documents etc, for each tenancy, before we can destroy these please?

We have a link http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/sa/rk-bk1.pdf that gives information regarding how long to keep paperwork regarding Tax Returns/VAT etc but would like to know if we can start clearing out any archived papers referring to the actual tenancies.
