Hi
I own a 1 Bedroom Apartment which I rent out. I currently pay in excess of £100/calendar Month for service charges. This is an absolute 'rip off' and I am attempting to take on the contract, which relates to 9 properties including my own.
I have recently set up a Property Management and Letting Agency with my daughter and thought that this would be a good project to take on. However, having liaised with my solicitor who in turn spoke with the legal dept of Ben Bailey Homes (they are the current Landlords as this is a new development) I have been informed that Ben Bailey will not consider changing the Service provider as the rest of the site is not yet complete. I have the full support of all the other 8 residents and thought that this was all I needed in order to set up a new contract and effectively 'dump' the current provider. Can you offer any advice or assistance on this particular topic! If not, do you know who the best people are to speak with.

Kind Regards
