We have recently done a complete refurbishment on an upstairs flat in Ilford and are going to use a local well regarded estate agents to find a tenant and manage it for the first time. They are quite thorough - but said that we didn't have to have an inventory done as they realised it would be very expensive (£150 + Vat for one with photos). I said it was important to go with future proof regards the Tenancy Deposit. Agent said he would leave it with me.

what do you think I should do?
