We own and rent out a house with a long drive with a large grass verge. The drive is used by others for access. One of the neighbours has created a parking space on part of the verge. Although they did not seek our permission we have no problems with this. However if we wish to sell the house (& drive) in the future this parking space could pose a problem.

My query is; is there a form of words we can use in a letter acknowledging their use of the drive but confirming they may lose this privilege (?) if/when we sell
