Changing gas fires to electric

Hi

I have a HMO property in West Yorkshire and have just had the annual gas checks. One of the chimney's is blocked and gas man has suggested changing over to electric fire to reduce maintainance costs. Does anyone know a good fire to buy and are they easy to install. The old gas fire has been capped.
