Musty smell in Bedroom

If there is no obvious cause for the musty smell, there is a possibility that there may be some dry rot in the structure. As this needs to be treated immediately if it is present, it might well to actually take up some of the floorbords and have a good look around to make sure this is not the case.

Otherwise it might be a good idea to give the room a good airing and if the problem persists consult a damp proofing firm to take some readings in the room.
