Hi
I recently fitted some halogen ceiling lights in an upstairs room. This involved cutting holes in the plasterboard ceiling and cutting away the loft insulation in the areas where the lights are installed.
Can you tell me if I legally need to cover them (e.g. with a steel or fabric firehood?) or is there an alternative solution worth looking at?
At the moment they're just completely uncovered in the attic which probably isn't great if someone decides to chuck something flamable over the top of them! :-S
Thanks for your help!
