Not a problem but clarification appreciated.
Current tenants who have been in our property for 1 year have just given 4 weeks notice- it co-incides with the end of their tenancy agreement.

We have managed the property ourselves for the last 6 months although it was initailly managed by a letting agent.

When they leave can you confirm that we need to

- review original inventory. Assuming all is ok with this we then return their deposit to them currently held in our landlord dep scheme account. ( How is this actually paid back to them?)

-We expect them to notify council tax, water, gas and electricty companies and pay up to date. What info do we need to pass on to new tenants re these? Are we liable to pay any council tax between old tenants moving out and new moving in?

- Is there any sort of a checklist that we could use to ensure we have done everything?
