My tenant was issued a section 21 notice and was due to vacate the property on 31st Augus. Tenant has not left but has stated that they have somewhere to go that will be ready at the end of August. The gas safety certificate is due to be renewed this week.

Am i still under obligation to renew this seeing as the tenant should have vacated the property already, and they will be leaving at end of Oct?
