I rent out rooms individually in HMO House.
Have gas fires in each room which are economical.Tenants pay as they go by putting £1 coins in meters.This works brilliantly except when gas prices increase and landlord then has to pay for meter adjustment.In this manner tenants have control over heating in their rooms.
