Possession - Section 8 and Section 21

My tenants have been in situ for 4 years but I am raising the rent and issuing a new contract (which they have agreed to ) I have downloaded S21(1)(b) Housing Act 1988 from the documents section. The tenancy agreement runs until 21 May 2014, so is this the date I put in the box which says 'After ......' ?
