I had a family move into a property on the 28 February 2013 having signed a 12 month tenanacy. The wife has moved out and is harrassing me for the deposit back.
The husband is living in the property and I have agreed to look for new tenants and told him he is liable for the rent until new tenants are found.
Do I stand my ground with the wife and tell her they are still liable for the rent until the end of the tenancy or if new tenants are found and that she is responsible for the reletting costs.

She has told me the husband only has to give one month's notice to leave and that the CAB have told her this.
