Further to the recent advice you have been giving to re-issue the Prescribed Information when an AST becomes Statutory Periodic, and highlighting the potential penalties if there is a delay in doing this, there are signature boxes on the form but no date box/es.

Isn't it necessary for the Prescribed Information form to be dated ? If not, why not?

If a date isn't necessary, how could a delay in issuance be proved? If it is necessary, I suspect that a good number of people will have missed this out and be unable to prove they have issued the document in good time.

I'd be grateful for your advice and clarification.
