How long an order of possession valid?
Possession - Section 8 and Section 21

I have a property where 4 Polish builders are living on an AST tenancy. Their families are living in Poland. They have been paying the rent promptly and never hassles me for anything at present.

I am thinking of applying to court to obtain possession order with my tenants consent. I don't have plans to evict them but would like to secure an order of possession to avoid any delays with court etc. in the future. This way I can minimise the risk of future rent arrears.

How long an order of possession valid? If I get the order possession, can I apply for a warrant in say 2-3 years time.
