Landlord deceased
Possession - Section 8 and Section 21

Hello,

Could anyone advise - a friend has a situation whereby they are the agent and served a section 21 notice on a tenant, they included the landlord name in the notice but the landlord has died.

The tenant is now claiming the notice is not valid as it has the landlord name on it but he is deceased! Obviously they can reserve the notice correctly with the executors or something instead, any views would be great
