Hi there!

I am renting out my home while i move abroad and am hoping for some clarification with regards to the law/procedures of having electricity checks. I have been told that it is not the law to have them checked but I do have an old fuse box/electrics in my property and cant afford to have the whole place re-wired to update it...do I need to? If something were to happen am I liable in any way? Could I be sued or in any legal trouble?

Thanks for your help!!!
