We are trying to evict a tenant. we have gone through the process as far as waiting for date from bailiff to do the actual eviction. today I received a council tax bill for the property. I spoke to the c.tax department who said they had received a new address for the tenant who told them she had left on 29th. September. I went round to the property and can see through the windows that the lights are on but it is mainly empty. I can see a washer, fridge, tumble dryer and an empty bookcase. The fridge door is open and it appears to be empty. Where do we stand? the neighbours told us that they saw the tenant packing up a van and leaving the property on Sunday.
