Dear RLA
I have just had a request from my tenant to have a young dog! They already have an enormous rabbit and I am very concerned about their request.
Have you any suggestions as to what I can do to cover any damages that may occur if I allow them to have the dog e.g. Take a further deposit, get an addendum to the lease etc?
They have been tenants now for 4 years and on the whole are reasonable tenants but I do have a concern about them taking on a dog and a rabbit, especially as they are out of work all day.
I would be very grateful for any suggestions/ advice you can give me.
Thank you.
Kind regards
Caro Stevenson
