NRLA South West Regional Webinar - Q&A with the NRLA Policy Team on the Renters Reform Bill

The Renters’ Reform Bill

This webinar session will comprise a presentation by NRLA Deputy Director of Policy Meera Chindooroy followed by a live Q&A as well as your customary news and legislative update.

The Government has committed to bringing forward a Renters’ Reform Bill. This will be a fundamental restructure of the rights and processes for landlords seeking possession, including removing the current Section 21 provision.

As the body representing private landlords, the National Residential Landlords Association wants to ensure that the legislation is effective and fair for both tenants and landlords. Our proposals for the Bill to achieve these aims was published in December.

Join us for a webinar to understand what the NRLA is calling for in detail including proposals for:

• Clear and comprehensive grounds for possession

• Court reform and conciliation

• Lifetime deposits

Our proposals have been sent to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and the NRLA will be using them to work with government as the Bill is developed.
